TO NYI: Quick
TO LAK: Ladd

Same deal, same term. Ladd gets to finish out his career living on the beach and will therefore waive his NMC.

Quick is a good goalie but he's 32 years old and can't stay healthy. He's also owed 5.8M for another four years. So, no contender neither can afford him or need him at this point

That second round pick they get for him would put the Kings two years ahead of scheduele.

Considering his injury history, I can’t see Philly going all in after being burned so badly by Elliot and Neuvy this year. So why add a $5MM multi-year cap hit when The current tandem contracts are up this year. Quick would be a great bridge to Hart but only if he actually plays.

He's aging nicely and should be ready for the Flames in a couple of years.

Ek needs new snow tires.

These extra clicks will help.

I love J. Quick. In fact, he was my favorite goalie for several years. However, at this point in his career, I honestly don't see him fetching a piece to rebuild around. He is still a quality netminder, no doubt about that, but at his age, and with his injury history, I think Kings fans will be disappointed with what the return would be.

I also don't see how the Leafs are connected to this. Unless I haven't yet heard about Andersen being out for the year.

I do agree that if he were moved, Philly makes sense. But again, LA isn't exactly gonna get a franchise player, or even high end prospect for Jonathan Quick. So don't get your hopes up.

That actually makes sense... for The Isles. I'm not sure how interested the Kings would be though. Aren't they already the oldest team in the league? Or one of them. I can't see them being interested in an aging Andrew Ladd.

Really? You see Buffalo trading Dahlin + for Quick? You're insane.

I see Fletcher moving Gudas to Vancouver for Biega to open cap space for bringing in Quick for Nolan Patrick. I wouldn't wait considering injury history of Quick and how hard it is to make regular season trades.

It wasn't really a serious suggestion. It probably doesn't make sense for the Kings at all. Ladd stinks. At least Quick is good when he's healthy.

Isles would have to send back even, or close to it, money to make it work and that's probably not going to happen.

Toronto? No they arent interested.

Philly perhaps but at this point they have Stolarz playing well and Elliott ready to return. Flyers might as well wait and test FA waters

Pittsburgh is possible. Murray or DeSmith would be part of the package going back I assume.

St. Louis Possible but doubtful. Allen looks like he has returned to what people expected him to be. As long as he plays like this, I see no reason for them to look elsewhere.

Carolina might be a team looking for an upgrade. McBackup, Darling and Mrazek are not the answer.

Florida could be a darkhorse as well. Lu is done like dinner. I dont expect him to comeback next year. Lu is playing at 40 years old. Im sure Quick can survive until 37. Should definitely help the Panthers improve.

Pass. Flyers wont move Patrick. Especially leaving a HUGE hole at C. I think a trade for Carter at this point is more likely than Quick

All the bashing, and the guy had a shutout on Sunday. I’m one of the LA fans that wants to deal him for lesser goalie and pick, though.

Only in Toronto is the idea of Quick going there probable, or interesting.
